Exactly what I needed!

I liked the lower spot until I installed my front bumper. The front bumper bar was taking away the bottom quarter of my screen, so I started plotting a move elsewhere. I now see portion of the newly installed black trim piece. Here's a not so great picture showing the current view - it's down to about 1/5 of the screen view being taken away.

Are you guys finding 3/4 in tape? I can only find tape that is a little less than an inch. Would that look wierd?

Try going to a autobody supply shop, or paint supply store.

A limited owner in the GB received his. It fits, but as I expected the center section on the limited is as tall/wide. So for those with limiteds of you recieved yours or it's on the way. If the bottom tape doesn't contact the center section let me know and I will mail you new tape.

Moving forward for limiteds I will not install the bottoms tape. I will provide it for the owners to install on the lower section of the center section. I will write separate instructions for limiteds.

I don’t follow this and the picture has me baffled. Likely it will all make perf sense when she arrives. That’s for your great work and ingenuity.

Am I the only idiot who installed the letters upside down? Haha too excited and quick to get this going. No worries I was able to pull them off and do it over (Man they really stuck good but no damage pulling them off), Autozone has 1/4” 3M VHB.

No I wasn’t going to chance re-using the tape so I bought new tape for the letters.

Good. Not sure it would have been a good idea.

And on that note for everyone with letters. If you just barely set the letters on there. You can move the template away and confirm you are happy with the placement. If you want to move them you can buy just lifting them off. If you fully press them on you won't be able to peel them off easily. If you want to remove the letters after full install , fishing sting works the best. Be careful not to scratch the cover though.

Im a little confused on why we need the 3/4 tape? Isn't the straight edge of the template already the proper spacing on the top for the letters?

The garnish came out great. Took out a different approach to installing the letters.

I took a similar approach. Used a thick cardboard for a bottom straight edge, I then marked a center line where each letter touched the bottom edge.

On the O’s I added a piece of tape to the top and bottom of the O so I could line it up perfectly where I had marked a line for top and bottom, I was afraid it would lay slightly twisted and this worked well to keep it perfectly oriented.

Sadly Im still waiting on an upper grill as I had to send my last one back. I went ahead and put the letters on though. Standard letters (non 3D printed). Super happy with this product!
