I was not part of the group buy, ordered right off the website a couple weeks ago, but mine is going to be delivered today. I opted for no letters as I am a "debadger" :naughty:

I am so thankful to have found someone who makes this piece as the cost of this part from Toyota pisses me right off.

I'm not sure what everyone else has done but I had my silver valances plasti-dipped within a week of ownership. I really like the matte black of it too. It's been on for 2.5 years now and no signs of letting go (except in the rear where some tie-downs from my moto carrier rubbed through to the black plastic underneath).

Got my TSO garnish and letters in the mail yesterday. I put it together and when I get home from work today I'll install it on my 4R with the tinted marker lights I have.
Will post pics of complete setup with and without lights on later this evening.

Was practically jumping up and down when the mailman delivered the package yesterday. I'm sure he was thinking, "This lady is crazy!".

I tried to do it myself, that stuff is impossible to work with on the valences. Too many little dips and humps to get it even. I’m considering taking it somewhere and letting one of those wrap installer wizards deal with it.

PSA FOR EVERYONE.

please read the install instructions fully any make sure you understand them.

DO NOT PEEL THE TOP TAPE BEFORE INSTALLATION. CUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOP TAPE AND PEEL JUST ENOUGH TO HAVE A TAB TO PULL THE PLASTIC OFF THE TOP AFTER YOU FULLY INSTALL COVER. THEN AFTER YOU FIRMLY PRESS THE FRONT TAPE ON THE FRONT, YOU CAN PEEL THE TABS ON THE TOP TAPE.

IF YOU PEEL THE TOP TAPE BEFORE INSTALLATION YOU WILL NOT GET A PROPER INSTALLATION. THE TOP TAPE WILL GRAB AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT OFF EASILY.

INSTALL IS ALMOST INDENTICAL TO THE OEM GARNISH. WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEOS OUT THERE.

Ok the cut outs on the garnish do not match the grill on the limited. Possibly the limited grills are different. ? I am wondering if the upper grill that we have to buy will actually fit the limited. Anybody done this yet?

Ok so I have not removed anything but you can see how they will match up, or not. But possibly I am just confused. If there was an sr5 nearby I would know for sure.

You have to remove the upper grille. It should match up. The the Trd upper grille. All off that gets covered up. Those cutouts are in the same location as OEM.

Well I Know that. It appears that the cutouts do not match the limiteds grill. I understand that they match the oem trd grill. But because the limiteds grill appears to be different I wonder if the trd grill will fit in place on the limited. Hence my question. Anybody done this yet to a limited? The grills appear not to be the same. If I am the first I can go buy the trd grill from the dealer, remove mine and compare. I was just hoping someone else had gone down this path

I'm not following what you are saying. This is a picture of a limited with the upper grills completely removed. Once you fully push the cover on the cut out will match perfectly up with the upper grille clip "ramps"

How well do these match the OEM (Pro) lower bumper valence? Im thinking about just buying that piece so I dont have to worry about rock/paint chips. But these being a more true matte makes me wonder if it will look funny?

it is worth it for me to have a piece without any letters/badging on the front.

If you are in California shipping should be half that. And some people in Cali are getting them in 1 day after they ship. I am completely caught up on orders now. So everything is getting shipped same day or the next day.

It appears that the two holes (into the white) on your photo coincide with the protrusions from the red/sr5 grill. As you can see from my photo above the limited grill will have those protrusions in a different location. Thus I expect that the trd grill will not attach properly.

My garnish with upgraded letters is avail and is on the block.
