I’m so glad to see people in the area with 4runners! I’ve been in the south metro area now for over a year (Dakota County), and looking for some folks to explore Minnesota with!

I wish I could come to the event on 11/17 but my only free weekend (no kids or wife), will be Veterans Day Weekend. Anyone free to go explore spider lake or some other hidden gem you all know of? My build has been so slow I don’t have any armor but still have decent tires and lift. Chime in if you’re free during that three day weekend!

My current set up is a 2015 Trail with OME lift in front, TC UCAs, SAWs in rear, Bilsteins all the way around, Nitto G2s 285/70/17, have a FrontRunner rack and XenonDepot HIDs.

Since being here my only wheeling trip were a few trails out in Badlands NP.

Also, does anyone know of any good mechanics in the Twin Cities area? I work in downtown Minneapolis and thought about swinging by Automotive Concepts? I’m getting some squeaking from the front of my suspension (bushings or maybe from sway bar?). Squeezing only happens while going over small bumps (maybe this is normal?). All recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Twin Cities 4Runner Folks- It appears you all may not have been here for a while but maybe somebody will see this. Unexpected need here for some help, I'm trying everything. I have a 95 Runner with 186K miles, rust free body I brought up here from New Mexico it is an awesome rig! This morning April 23 the Engine Seized on me.. I am wondering if anybody in this thread might know of toyota specialists, junkyards in the area, just looking for a direction. I don't want to lose this thing it's my pride and joy. Not opposed to putting the money in for an engine swap but also not opposed to selling it for parts, or salvage if I have to. If anybody here might know someone with ideas or the parts please let me know! Thank you.

I'm relatively new to this forum since I sold my FJ60 and bought a 2019 TRD ORP (+KDSS +Moonroof +Barcelona Red) this month. I just couldn't bear to take the FJ60 out in the winter and get it rusted all to hell. It went to a good home that never sees salted roads.

First mod was to replace those sh***y OEM Dunlops with some Blizzak DM-V2s for winter. Haven't yet decided what the summer tires/wheels will be.

Looking at our friends up in Bemidji (Headlight Revolution) for upgraded lighting options. Any thoughts? I'm thinking about the GTR Lighting CSP Mini LED options for fog, low, and high beams.

I'm in Eagan and I seldom see other 4Runners.

hello, I have a 2001 4runner with some stuff done to it. I'm located in Little Canada. this winter I'm working on a frame swap and would love so people to go off-roading with me when I'm done.

also, does anybody have good recommendations for winch bumpers?

For those looking for trails Spider Lake in Pine City has some good ones. We ATV there but often see some pretty big rigs. I just installed an awning for the summer on my white ‘17. Usually in the Woodbury area.
