Awesome annual event/fundraiser coming up again at the end of September, figured I'd extend an invite to the 4Runner community. Event includes raising money for a children's cancer cause, doing a trail ride in Allegan, and doing door prizes for lots of sweet gear. The WFC will help to send children with cancer and their siblings to Special Day's Camp. One week for the siblings and one week for the child dealing with the disease. This camp provides a safe and memorable camping opportunity adapted to meet the special needs of their campers. The activities are designed to promote self-esteem, confidence, friendships, teamwork, and leadership. Special Days helps children develop life skills to meet the challenges of treatment, school, work, and family. Special Days can make a remarkable difference in their lives. The WFC has helped to send 38 children to camp, it costs about $1000.00 per child and 95% of the kids need a helping hand to go.
A full day of activities have been planned for you. Registration will be from 7:30 to 9am at Camp Beechpoint. You will choose between 2 rides, Sticks or Bricks. The Stick ride will be thru the Allegan State Game Area with a trail leader or by yourself. The Bricks Ride is a self guided ride thru Allegan County visiting historical places. There will be 2 games to play on the Sticks route, "I Spy's" and "Find the Hand" for you to win free door prize tickets. The "Bricks" ride will have a "I Spy" game for you to play and win door prize tickets. Everyone will meet for a Free BBQ lunch at Little John Park and then head back to Beechpoint for more games and the Door Prize drawings. The door prize drawings will have prizes for the family and your 4x4. Approx value of prizes has been $8,000.00 over the past years.
Each Paid Participant will Receive 2 FREE Door Prize Tickets, You may also buy more tickets at the event.
