U-Joint Shield, and Cross Member 93 T4R

Hey guys - does anyone have one these they can part with (pardon the pun)? It's the bottom of the U-Joint shield, and trust me - it makes a racket when it's rubbing again the universal.

These are from my 1993 4Runner SR5 3.0L Automatic 4x4

Free is good, but I won't turn down a reasonable offer (tight budget blues) (Will pay shipping)

A different angle - you can see the rub marks on the U-Joint

And if you have a cross-member in better shape than mine - rocks are murder!

For which? I got the bolts out cleanly, and just put them back after I took what was left of the shield off. They won't get lost that way.

All the bolts in the cross-member also appear to be in good shape. Nothing a lot of penetration fluid won't fix.

Riffraff I think its time for a budbuilt! That cross member seems to catch on everything doesnt it. Haha

I crunched the rear drive shaft "skidplate" of mine.... I just took it off..

Been meaning to make something stronger for it...

It is a PITA! You are right about it hanging up on things. Looks like my wife (after seeing the carnage) gave me the green light to get the BudBuilt belly pan to go with the front skid plate. Wonder how I can talk her into getting the Full Monty (OME 2" Suspension Lift, Coils, Shocks, and Torsion Bars)?

Forget that piece of crap around the front DS u-joint.
For the x-member get a BB, hands down.

You have to take the DS skid off anyway to get the budbuilt to fit, so in away, this is a good thing! Haha

BB makes armor for the major parts, not that u-joint thingie.

And OP, if you get a BB x-member/skid plate set, you increase you underbelly clearance by 2", the BB is very low profile compared to factory.

The v6 single case budbuilt skid covers the whole tranny up to the back of the bell housing. You have to take the DS skid off to put the budbuilt on skid on.

Just under 16" to the Crossmember on 35s, not the part under the bottom of the tcase. I dont know what the stock height is..

ok i looked at my t case stuff the one i have is for a 91 not sure if its the same.

Kinda hard to compare it to mine since mine is all twisted up. I can crawl back under and measure from bolt to bolt for comparison, but I can't imagine there would be much difference between a 91 and a 93 for the U-Joint covers.
