Try tightening up the lines first. But in the end, be prepared to replace the rack if the leak does not stop.

I would also like to mention that I get a slight pop when turning, but only on occasion. It is not every time. I believe my rack is bad. Another thing to add to my summer to-do list.
I have noticed that i hae been doing a lot of preventative maintenance and repairing lately. I'm hoping these issues will subside.
So far, in the past 2 months: new UBJs, LBJs, Inner and outer TREs, new timing belt, water pump, tstat, tensioners, oil seals, rack bushings, front sway bar links & bushings, calipers, rotors, pads, oil, coolant, brake fluid, and ps fluid.

Make sure your ITREs are nice a tight. That could be your popping sound.

How's your tire wear up front since you've noticed the issue? Excessive?
I ask because I am dealing with a similar issue (minus the leak) and have CHEWED through a brand new set of tires in about a month.
I replaced similar parts as you. UBJ, LBJ, LCA, I/O Tie rods. And experience the pop when turning as well.
It looks like possibly a bad seal up near the top of the rack. This is a gray area for me though.

Is this a problem?
I just replaced my steering rack bushing not even 6 months ago.
It appears to be leaking, power steering fluid?
Any info folks? Can you see where the leak starts from the top?
I replaced my rack in mid December and i believe mine is leaking in the same place. its ether that or my front diff seals with my new synthetic gear oil. but its splattering all the way back towards the rear gas tank skid.

I'm wondering if that connection got angry when you moved the rack to replace the bushings. It doesn't look like a line connection problem to me. I imagine you're gonna have to drop the rack to diagnose anyway. This combined with the knocking sound sounds not good. I agree with LittleCaesar. Hopefully something just got jarred a bit and you don't have to replace the rack. I just did it on my '01 some months back and got the AAE rock auto one for $250 IIRC.

Gravity. To me it looks like something is leaking above the rack. The power steering fluid wouldn't be climbing up the rack.

looks like the input shaft seal is leaking. same thing happened to me. i checked with an a-tech friend, he told me that no part of the rack is serviceable, and that i should keep refilling it until the leak is unbearable. at that point replace the rack.

I've been around a little bit here and there. Busy with work & some other stuff. Haven't done anything to my truck in a few months and haven't even driven my BMW for the last few months. LOL

I hate not seeing PBR here as frequently but I really miss the pics of his neighbor's house.
On closer inspection, the upper line feeding into the rack looks to be leaking. I just helped a neighbor replace his PS pump hard line on a Chevy truck four months after he replaced the original one. It turns out he had not seated the double flare of the line correctly, ultimately cracking the flare ever so slightly so it leaked. Sometimes people have a hard time with the belief that brute force is not necessary to tighten down everything
