That is why I was looking into the Ultimate Liner from Hamilton. But maybe with some sewing machine skills you can cut into the canvas and then stitch it back with a heavy duty nylon and be good. Like a button hole stitch or something. It'd be cheaper than the Hamilton liner. That is why I was looking into the options. For the price of the canvasback liner, sides and hatch, it would be the same cost of the Hamilton liner. I guess it comes down to what material you'd rather have. I liked the idea of just wiping off the material if it got dirty or had a spill and Hamilton might win that side. Ugh! Options, options...options

My other car was all fabric inside. My goal with the hamilton liner was to hide as much fabric as I can. I got tired of the fur getting between the fibers of my seats. Now I jus open all the windows ans most of the loose fur just flies off.

Vinyl was a must for me.

The pieces are removable and secured by velcro.

The side pieces can be removed, everything is velcro attachment.

What did you finally do about a cargo liner? If "nothing", how important is it to you to have a factory or aftermarket tailored look in the back? If the answer is "not very important", then I'll tell you the cheap & easy solution I used for my '08 -- but only if you promise to neither laugh nor retch ;-)

I have purchased this for my 2 dogs. It is expensive but it is worth it. I've had it for a month now and I am happy about my purchase.

The material seems a little but on the thin side when you get it but it's shown to be very resistant. I have closed the hatch twice with the bumper protector still hanging out and the latch has not gone through the material. And my dogs cannot scratch it. It fits also fits very well and looks good.

I have two minor complaints however.

1. It is not an easy job to install. There are so many of those velcro pieces to stick on! But it is needed for the fit so I understand.

2. And this one could be more of an annoyance for certain people. The piece that covers the hatch has no hole for the closing strap. I now have to use the handles in the door itself but I am tall enough.

Edit. Also, a previous poster said he lost the ability to fold seats individualy. My kit came with zippers to allow for this.

Confirming thats the Hamilton Ultimate Liner? How long did it take to ship out? How is it holding up? I don't have dogs yet but I am getting is to reduce scratching in my rear bc I will be doing a ton of traveling. Do they have an option for the sliding rear cargo tray?

Are they all installed with double sided taped Velcro? Lets say you need to remove the Velcro years after before you sell the car, is the double sided tape going to ruin the finish of the plastic trim surface?

I like the cost of Canvasback and the material of Ultimate Pet Liner and eventually tried the Ruff Rug 4runner cargo liner. Made to fit the floor and made with the same vinyl waterproof material:

I just recently got a U.S. Trunk Liner.

For $280 you can:

-Easily remove and install it for quick cleaning, hosing down
-Durable hard plastic, no fear of tearing
-non slip rubber mats
-dog bumper protector flap
-SIDE PROTECTION! (every liner I saw doesn't protect the inside wheel well area)
-EXPANDABLE WHEN SEATS ARE FOLDED! Basically gives you a truck bed sized area. You could throw dirt in there and it would be contained.
-Protects the back of the seat as well.
