I hope this works for others. I searched long and hard for codes and found these over many hours of trying to work it out. If they are on this site I could not find them. Here are the parameters for Transmission Temperature using the UltraGauge MX that I ran across in this forum. What I got to work is a combo. Sorry I can’t find the original post but here goes.
Codes for 2012-2015 Trans temps *F
(TC)
Tdata: 07E02182
MTch: 6182
RPOS:2808
RCTRL:21
TCTRL:92
X: 0009
/: 0005
+: FFD8
Output format : 00
Left/Right 31
Codes for 2012-2015 Trans temps *F
(PAN)
TDATA: 07E02182
MTCH: 6182
RPOS: 1808
RCTRL: 21
TCTRL: 92
X:0009
Y:0005
+: FFD8
Output Format: 00
Left/Right is 31
Programmed "MGAUGE" #3 and #4 because #1 and #2 have special bits so I just did not use them.
The "Trans Temp (TC)" code worked well for me.
The "Trans Temp (pan)" however did not. It read 350 and really never did anything.....
So I changed the (0009, Y:0005) codes to (X:0001, Y:0001). Notice that the RPOS for the (PAN) was the 1808 value. Everything works well. I have an infrared thermometer and measured the pan and both lines going into the transmission cooler and the numbers read by the UltraGauge were about only 10 degrees off but the important thing is that I made multiple temperature check and the (TC) temp would go higher when I accelerated and the pan temp would stay constant till the cooler caught up with it.
I have included the page that UltraGuage sent me and I ended up using the (2012-2015) codes. except the X and Y parameters are different. I am pretty confident that these are the codes needed for my 2016 but the point to be made is that the RPOS values are the same as the (2010-2015) parameters.
