Update and Daystar 2.5 Lift and 285 Michelin LTX AT2

Hello everyone, I have not been around in quite some time. I graduated last May and moved back to the VI and have been wheeling the Jeep, but now I moved back to FL, and made some updates to the 4Runner!

I just installed the new Daystar 2.5 in lift which I think really came out to be more like 3/2 inches. But before I did that I put on some new Michelin LTX AT2 tires in 285/70/17 size. I was driving around for 3 days with the 285s and only a 2 inch front lift, but there was a bit of rubbing even after alot of trimming. I went with the AT2s because I wanted to try and keep the ride characteristics as comfortable and quite as possible. These ride almost as smooth and are as completely quite as the stock crossterrains, and look a more aggressive than highway tires. They look alot better in person, the little "biting edges" look pretty aggressive, and the tread is pretty deep. They are not BFG KOs or Cooper STTs, but I am sure they ride much nicer.
Also I installed the 06+ LED tails that I got on ebay for like $215 shipped. Also I installed the 06+ limited "wood grain" trim that I bought from a member here on the forum. I sold my factory nav system about a year ago and just upgraded from the stock toyota radio to the scion color changing ipod radio with the ipod cable.

I know it is not as cool as the STTs that everyone has, which is what I originally wanted when I first saw them a few years ago, but those will have to go on the TJ. Also I need new wheels let me know your suggestions please! I really wanted the black DC-1s, but a friend of mine got those on his Jeep, and so now I cant get them and look like I am copying him :/

That looks amazing.. I would vote you for March's T4R of the month but i need some backing. Where did you get the TRD badging because i definitely want a set of those.

thanks guys, I am even more in love with it now. The tires look even more aggressive in person than the pics, the tread is pretty deep, 18/32 deep! I need to get some new wheels now. I want a deep dish style rim but without a deep lift if you can understand what I mean. Let me know if you know any wheels like that.
Oh and the TRD badge was made from the combo of my stock SR5 badge and the T and D in the Limited badge. I know it obviously is no such thing as a TRD and this def isnt it if there was, but I didnt like the SR5 badge anymore, I have leather and had the factory nav, and just didnt like the base model lettering on the side anymore but thought it would look missing if I took it off.

Does anyone know if 285/75/16 (I believe that's the same as your 285/70/17) would fit on my truck if I have the same lift but no wheel spacers? I don't want to pay for the spacers, and I've been told they're bad for your truck. I don't know if the latter is true, but it's mostly about the money.

Seatown, I can get some pics and post them, but it is not really a kit, I took out my stock black pieces around the radio and replaced them with pieces that came with the limited stock, you could just search for pics of the limited interior.
Shipoffools, this size tire will work without spacers, however you will have rubbing on your frame when you get close to a full turn. A member here has 285 cooper stt without spacers, his username is Brett(with some numbers after it) search cooper stt on the forum and he talks about it in the longest thread. I am just using the spacers temporarily until I find some wheels that I like.

I think that looks perfect . Looks tough but not over done. I've looked at the AT2 . I know what you mean about the picture doing justice. Nice job.

I've heard the Daystar gives more height than advertised . Did you put the new kit or older kit on ? Do you have part number ?
