I have had the '22 SR5 since November and have enjoyed it a lot. I had the 10,000 mile maintenance about a month ago.
This past Sunday, I noticed the presence of the top of my rear license place in the backup camera view, which I had never noticed before. I did some searching and it seems a lot of owners see this and think the view has changed. I took it to the dealer Monday and they checked it out and said nothing had changed and everything is nominal. I'm surprised that I hadn't noticed it before since I'm usually rather observant. I'd like to hear from other owners who were caught off guard with this issue.
Then today, for the first time I noticed the little Passenger light panel under the right console knob and its blinking security icon. I had never noticed that before either, which again surprises me. The blinking is consistent with what I see on page 80 of the owner's manual.
Quite a few new owners also expressed concern over not being able to see all playlists in Apple Music while driving. I discovered this is a safety feature and CarPlay restricts the playlists you can see while the 4Runner is moving. They are all visible and accessible when the vehicle is still.
I wonder how many more features I'll discover by accident?
