Heard a popping/thud noise when turning the wheel left and right. After looking around, found my Total Chaos UCA was popping and moving when the wheel is being turned. Don’t have tools right now to check if anything is loose, but has anyone experienced this? Have a 300 mile drive back home so just want to be sure it’s okay. Only happens when I’m close to full lock.

When was the last time you lubed the uni-ball? That’s the easiest place to start.

Sorry to hear about this, it certainly isn't normal.
We'd recommend double-checking the torque setting on your UCA pivot bolt and Thru-bolt that attaches to the spindle. If you're still experiencing noise please post a pic or two of your setup. We are happy to take a look and let you know if anything looks off.
UCA Pivot Bolt - 85ft/lbs
UCA Thru Bolt - 100ft/lbs
Thru bolt was loose! No more pooping after retightening. Will carry a wrench in the car from now on in case it works it’s way loose again.
