I saw a new badge today, a Urban Edition, I never heard of this model before, was on the lower front door panel.

It was a 4WD model. What is different about this one?

Mikey,

Thanks...interesting model. I read the link and I am surprised to see the V8 HP only 260, less HP than the current V6, but more torque.

I thought the 4.7L had more HP, for that generation.

In over 10 years of owning and looking at 4 Runners, I've only ever seen but one Urban Runner. That was in Atlanta, GA.

Honestly when it comes to trucks/SUVs I don't bother looking at HP; I'm more concerned about torque, torque band, and drivetrain gearing. That's a better indication of a truck/SUV's work potentional.

Let me rephrase my comment a different way, I thought for sure the 4.7L had way more HP and torque than what was listed.

260 HP and 306 FTLBs torque, way more than that....when you compare these numbers to the specs for the 4.0L V-6, it is not that much more

That is what I was trying to say....and yes torque is king, I don't care that much about HP, torque and range is what matters
