Urban Runner Bluetooth Compatible Phones

There are not many Urban Runner owners here, but I want to know who is utilizing the Bluetooth capability of the TomTom Eclipse unit.

Please post which carrier and what phone you have hooked up thru the Bluetooth. The compatible phone list on TomTom website have recently been changed. I looked in detail, and most of the phones listed are not even offered by major carriers.

I have AT&T and would like to connect an AT&T phone ideally.

Any input, feedback is appreciated. TIA

I have AT&T with the first generation iPhone. It hooked up easily, pushed my entire phone book, and works great.

I have had an issue with my iPod hooking up thru the USB. It only recognizes 66 songs, and I have about 180 on my shuffle. Any help on that?

thanks for the numerous responses....:D

anyway, my phone decided to work after 3 days since I dropped it in my cup of hot tea. And I tedted it with the TomTom and it works perfect.

Motorola Razor V3 connected in no time with full functionality. Calling,, receiving calls, read text messages, phone book, everything works. The clarity is awesome...

Need to get a new phone for my wife and it needs to be something other than a razor, so URunner owners, please post what you have connected....

PS. Next challenge is connecting her ipod to the Tom Tom, I am gonna try the ipod connection thru the armrest first.

im using tmobile on a blackberry 8130. im not able to read or write messages though. did you pay for the extra service and get the traffic/weather updates? my phonebook uploaded just fine.

on a side note, are we able to change the ring tone from the tomtom unit? i havent been able to figure that out or if its an option

RE:

I use it on my HTC PPC6800 which is through Alltel. it works great if you just leave your bluetooth ON and have your settings correct.
