I found some chunks of metal in my front diff, and instead of cleaning everything out and rebuilding whatever got torn up I'm just going to replace it... Does anyone have or know where I could get one? Its for a 2001, so it has the electric A.D.D. I believe. Does that mean I need one from a 99-02? How much should I expect to pay for one? I did a little bit of searching online, but I didn't really find anything promising.

I have one but it is a vacuum ADD. 96-2000 uses this system. 01,02 and 03,04 Taco uses the electric ADD.
Looking through the Toyota Parts catalog, the front carrier housing seams to be the same part number for all years.
So You should be able to unbolt the electric actuator and bolt it on to the earlier front diff.
I have a front diff assembly. It is yours for what every price I quoted earlier. (I can't remember)
Second option I have for you is upgrading the front diff to the heavier duty Sequoia (Tundra) Diff. It is also in 4.10 ratio and it does have the electric ADD.
I have know idea if it fits or not, or what it would take to make it fit. I do know that it will fit the CV shafts and front drive shafts. It is still in the chassis so i really can't do a side by side comparison.

it has 75-90 in it. I haven't owned it for too long, so my first time changing it was when I found the bits of metal. Would it be easy to switch the actuators? I guess since I haven't actually taken it out yet I am pretty clueless. I just want to be able to take it out and replace it basically...I dont think you ever quoted me a price. I think we were going to wait and see what happened. I'll shoot you a pm singtoe.
