That's a good price but compare the part numbers on the front struts..Toyota had a TSB replacing the front struts due to the minor clunk issue.

They are an upgrade from a full 5100 setup and in a stock rig, they ride nice.

I paid $650 for my TRD Pro suspension, and it only had 2k miles on the parts, so it maybe a little high still at 10k miles.

Best upgrade I've done so far to the truck though, huge improvement in ride both on and off road. If you don't plan on doing any real lift (I didn't, mines a daily driver still) its the way to go.

That might be total overkill for his intended use. And he may not want to rebuild shocks every 30K miles.

That's true. I used to run 5100 and upgraded to Icon Stage 7 and it was definitely a huge upgrade. It is definitely overkill for a daily driver that sees more pavement than dirt.

I hate to recommend parts I have not personally broken - but dobinsons seems to get pretty good reviews and their land cruiser stuff is well liked. They are in your price range for a pretty complete set of suspension components. I think $800 is right in the range where you could buy new comparable components for just a little more and get adjustable height if you want to do that later on.
