Hey folks, wanted to see who else is lurking on the forum from the Beehive State. With summer here the trails are calling, whether Moab, Timpanogos, or the West desert, we have plenty of options.

Feel free to post:
1. Where you live (city or area)
2. Are you interested in joining up for day trips/overnighters?

Anyone can suggest a new trip and post on this thread for the group. All are welcome (LCs, Jeeps, even 5th Gens!)

2. Quite excited for any type of trip - I'm a total desert rat but would love to check out local trails, Uinta spots, and get revenge on the Deep Creeks. (UT/NV border range. Fun trails but a bit dicey when solo...Google "Scotts Basin")

Just picked up my '99 limited less than a month ago, was lucky enough to get a rear locker. Very new to off-roading and aftermarket parts, excited to be a part of the community and learn.

Ok folks, looks like we have a good mix, some stock, some lightly modded. Instead of doing email/text, just subscribe to this thread with email notification. We can just post here for all things Utah going forward.

What if we did Rattlesnake as an introductory get together? It is short and not too complicated as far as a trail goes. And it's fun.

Plan on July 22 at 9am if interested. We'll meet at the Maverick in Eagle Mountain. (9217 Ranches Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005)

Ok folks, this Saturday the 22nd is a go. We'll be doing the Rattlesnake trail, out past Eagle Mountain. It is rated at 3-3.5 and is 2.5 miles one way. Not too long or difficult, but a fun morning run with some cool areas to explore.

We'll meet at the Maverick in Eagle Mountain at 9am. (9217 Ranches Pkwy, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005)

It's hot but not Arizona hot. 90s-low 100s. I spent 4 days there during August a few years ago and it wasn't that bad.

I am planning a trip out there later this year.

I did arizona last summer but stayed mostly in the mountains. Grand Canyon was pretty hot.

As long as its a dry hot and not 100* with 80% humidity I think we will be fine.
