V6 Flowmaster super 44, 40 or 50 series?

Been doing some research to buy an exhaust. Do not want to end up with the annoying drone. From videos it sounds like these two options sound pretty good, don't want to spend a bunch of money on a borla. Which one of these options won't give me the drone? What do you guys run? Sound clips if you have them? Thanks.

i have a friend who put a super 44 on his v6. its loud. its loud at idle, under acceleration, cruising speeds, all the time. its borderline headache loud with windows open too. I've heard great things about the 50 series, much milder tone, minimal drone, not nearly as pervasive of a noise as the 40 series, super 44 included

I put the super 44 on my V8 and I hated it. It was great at WOT and at idle but every other time it was annoying. I replaced it with the 50 series and I couldn't be happier.

I had a single in dual out flowmaster 40 on my last chevy truck and it sounded good but probably not right for a runner so I think the 50 would be a perfect fit.

Got the 50 series in on Friday, cut out the resonator and rerouted the tip, black MBRP tip (yes I copied [MENTION=68704]superman3043[/MENTION], I regret nothing lol) sounds great, pretty quiet until you really get on it! Couldnt be happier!

Post up a video! I'm thinking about doing a muffler and routing the tip out the side to help with the sulfer smell

haha, I have the same tip/muffler combo, been sitting in my house for a little over a month...I really need to get on installing it. Glad you are pleased with it, makes me feel good about the 50 series since I haven't installed it yet

good thing you didnt get the super 44, yeah its a lot louder and deeper, i do find it loud, but i do also want it louder.

Looks good man! My original finish didn't hold up very well, but once I repainted it with some flat black high temp header paint, it's been good to go. Just a heads up.

Did rerouting the tip get rid of the exhaust coming through the rear window?
