V8 frame mount hitch on a V6

So I really don't like how low the reese hitch that came on my 4r hangs, and I found a couple of the toyota oem v8 frame mount hitches (for some reason toyota calls them weight distribution hitches) online and at the local scrapyard. Has anyone put one on their v6 I would think the frames are the same. If so is there any difference in the years?

If I am not mistaken, all the V8 frame hitches sit lower than the stock V6 hitch, even the oem ones. This is because the V6 model is mounted on the rear frame cross member, while the V8 weight distribution units have to sit underneath that cross member. This is why they look lower.

Thanks guys. From what I have gathered there are 3 different hitches two that mount to the crossmember 1 has either 2 or 4 bolts and the other has 6 bolts (don't know why they didn't just make 1). These I think came on both the v6 or v8 but if you got the v8 with the tow package you got the frame rail mount hitch which I know is lower then the crossmember mount hitch but it tucks in much nicer then the aftermarket.

How do you search by post # ???
