I have the leak on the center diff loc actuator (2003 4x4 v8) and was putting a diaper on it today to keep the drips off the driveway when I noticed a loose vac line hanging down by the electrical connector on the back of the actuator.
This line heads up and forward, and has a heavy plastic spiral wrap on it. I tried to figure out where it connected, and it appears that there is a fitting on the actuator, but I couldn't get a good look at it without taking it off.
Anyone had experience with this vac line?
I just rolled 180,000 miles going LA to phoenix last weekend - 950 miles & 15.8mpg rolling along at 70-80 mph, depending on the speed limit.
