Valley of the Moon on Saturday 4/21?

Need to test my new FJ transfer case in my 07 4 runner! Anybody up for a run in Valley of the moon near the border fence? Planning to meet around 9:00 a.m at the In-Ko-Pah exit.. I would say it's moderate. Will be running with at least one other Heep.

Solid maybe. I have a thing with the in-laws but don’t know what time yet. My lady isn’t keen on details like I am lol. If it’s at dinner, I’m down. Any earlier than that I won’t be able to finish the trail and get from the border to north county in time. I’ll keep you posted!

Yup, in O’side right off the 5 freeway. I’ll be leaving around 7:00am. Last meet up I did with [MENTION=140622]UnJeep[/MENTION] a couple moths ago at Elliot Mine which is the same meetup area it took me about 1 hr 45 mins so that should be enough time. Gotta top off at the Shell/ Chevron nearby for over $4/ gal so be prepared to bend over at the pump!

It was an interesting run! We headed out with [MENTION=140622]UnJeep[/MENTION] and his neighbor Sam riding shotgun and a small crew of Jeeps Sam knew showed up so we ended up tagging along with them! Cool group to wheel with and I had a great time. I got pulled up the gatekeeper after a few attempts (and a big dent in my factory gas tank skid), one JK broke a sway bar link and later near the end of the trail run an XJ broke an axle shaft u-joint that required trail repair. This was a fun trail but was a bit more challenging than I expected. I’ll be back to tackle that obstacle for sure! I really need a locker :sad:
