So I've been kicking around the forum looking for valve adjustment advice. Here's what I found:
My 96 has 260k miles and a pretty good valve tap. (The toyota tick I call it.)
It is indeed suffering from crappy mileage.
Therefore,
I probably am a good candidate for a severe valve lashing.
Alas,
I'm not gonna claim to have the skill to try it.
So,
I'll take it to the local Jap(anese) car guy.
What is a typical price range for this? I'd like to walk in with some cursory knowledge of the labor involved.
