Doc was talking to me about this the other day. This would be an cool adventure for our 4runners. Who wants to go?

Dude, as much as I want to go, I can't.

The baby is supposed to be here any time between July 28th and Aug 2nd. I'm not leaving the wifey alone for 5 days, right after she had a baby. That's just cruel and unusual punishment.

I'm down next year for sure though. IF they do it every year....

That trip looks sick!! What a blast that is going to be. Sundays big finally dinner with local craft beers...Vermont has the best! Love it when I visit up there! Whoever joins you you will have a great time on that trip, it looks very well organized.

I was gonna take mine or my friends rover up there for that, but it is way too expensive to enter when we can just make our own camping/wheeling trip for the cost of fuel and broken parts.

That looks awesome. I would definitely be interested, though I haven't really off-roaded at all, so I am not sure that would be a good way to start.

$500 per vehicle is a bit steep, but not too bad I guess. Though I would have to make some additional investments in equipment which that would make it a pretty expensive outing...

BTW, if anyone is in the area and interested in a little overlanding on their own, I'd definitely be up for that. I didn't realize VT had so many 4wd trails.

I can let you know me and some rover buddies go wheeling in eastern CT, and i believe a few other places in New England over the summer, its nothing hardcore.

I've been tuned into the Northeast forum over on ExPo for a while. Thought I had a friend with a lifted FJ to go as a team with me, but other expenses kind of got in the way. I'd have to armor up my truck and his, and the fab time into 2 bumpers and 2 sets of sliders might be hard to swing at this point in time. Whoever goes is going to have an AWESOME time. It looks incredible. I was even trying to get a dealer to help "sponsor" our team to defray some costs....the college guy's budget strikes again! If anybody from T4R goes, please take millions of pics so I can be jealous!
