Versahaul or Moto-tote for Sport motorcycle

I found this when I was searching for ways to transport a motorcycle.
Ended up getting the Versahaul VH-55 (like the one pictured above).
I have to say I was impressed with how sturdy it was.
I picked up a 400 or so pound motorcycle, drove an hour to my friend's house where it sat for 2 days and then I drove about 8 hours (500 miles) back to my house. I didn't have to stop and readjust anything.
There were a couple of big, slow speed bumps where the bike & carrier moved more than I liked, but I'm sure I was just a bit paranoid. Expansion joints on the bridges on the highway also made it shake around a bit. But then again, I was going about 75 mph. But other than that, no complaints.
The truck didn't feel or handle differently at all. It didn't seem any slower and maneuverability was great.
It was also really easy to take the bike off the carrier by myself. I had help loading it on, but doing it w/ just one person wouldn't be much of a challenge at all.

I'm looking for something like this for this summer. I'm doing a couple bike weeks in OC MD and Myrtle Beach... But I'm taking the wife and 2 kids... This would be great, alot better than buying an enclosed trailer. I wanted the trailer in case of rain. BTW, shes an 05 GSXR 750...

Looks good! If you're going to do this a lot consider Airlift or Firestone. The manual fill kits are cheap. Link in my sig.
Rensho, the canyon dancer strap setup looks very cool! I normally move 'old fart' bikes and don't need them. On the occasion I move something sporty strapping is always a pain.
