Very sad news:'99 4Runner carjacked; owner found dead

Kevin Quick, a police captain in Waynesboro, VA was carjacked and abducted last Friday night near Charlottesville. He is the father of a four month old baby. His silver '99 4Runner was recovered Monday and I'm wondering if he was a member here. It's not very modified but the running boards are removed. Two females and a male were arrested on Tuesday after a crime spree committed with the 4Runner (more robbery, a shooting, photos at ATM). The three are siblings. Pictures below show they are the very definition of drug addled. Breaking news is that the captain's body has been found in Goochland.

Terrible to hear. I was wondering if he was on or off duty when it happened. Guess he was off since it was his 4Runner that was stolen. Just makes me wonder what happened during the incident, was he carrying or not?
