vibration when accelerating on sharp turns

so my 2010 4runner limited vibrates when i make sharp turns but only when i accelerate, if i make a sharp turn and not pressing the gas peddle its fine, but as soon as i accelerate the car vibrates. i greased all the u joints, drive shafts look fine i think. anyone else have this issue?? its driving me crazy

What kind of tires?

Aggressive tires make a lot more noise and vibration when accelerating and decelerating and more still when there are lateral forces from turning...
 
when was the last time you added grease to the driveshaft? The driveshaft on 4runners are not sealed units like most other vehicles on the road.
 
How sharp a turn are we talking and how hard on the accelerator? You might actually be breaking a tire loose and the vehicle is trying to compensate for it (VSC, ect.) and/or it's "hopping" one wheel. I get this sometimes in my lifted 4Runner with 33" Nitto Terragrapplers if I do to sharp a turn on hard acceleration. These are SUVs still after all.
 
Are you sure you have the center diff unlocked? It will bind up if in the locked position on the selector in hi like it does in lo range.

not the tires, have 3 sets of tires and rims,one set is the original and other 2 are pretty much same size and all do the exact same thing

45 digree turns(right or left turns on normal streets) with about 20% throttle or more, vibrates everytime i make right or left turns onto streets when accelerating normally
 
basically if im driving in a circle, while moving and not giving any gas its fine, as soon as i give it gas its starts vibrating a lot, as soon as i get off the gas peddle vibration goes away
 
I have the same problem on my '14 LE. Reversing out of a parking spot with wheel turned sharp is the worst for me. I think it's just inherent to the center differential on the LE. Mine did it from mile 1 on the odometer.

really!! have you tried taking it to toyota to get checked out? pretty sure its not normal and yours is still under warranty so shouldnt cost you anything.....that way you get yours fixed for FREE, then you can fallow up on this thread with what the issue was and then i can finally get mine fixed!!!! :uzi:

Sounds like the exact situation as mine. I don't know if is normal or not.
I have had my truck for six months and it has made that vibration that I can feel in the pedal and the wheel since day one. I am totally stock with only 3500 miles at this point (exactly 6 months old).
I just scheduled a 6 Mo service so I asked them to road test it while I have it in on Thursday.
To me it seems like it becomes apparent when you give it a small to medium amount of gas while you are already moving at moderate speed, seemingly more pronounced when you are turning.

Shouldn't be due to the T3 Torsen center differential in the Limiteds as that's actually there to help mitigate that type of binding a bit (not to mention it's the same VF4BM Transfer Case that's in my 4th Gen and I don't have that issue...)

I'm curious what is binding up on you guys though...

Yes my LE has never done this, stock wheels and tire, SR5 wheels and Silent Armors, and current Duratracs. When I went to Duratracs it doesn't drive as smooth but um... duh.

Now that I mention it, I have noticed that while I turn left onto a main road at the end of my street, I get a slight grabby feel like how my old 3rd gen felt when 4WD was engaged and the pavement was slippery but not loose (if that makes sense).
Damn, now I am thinking I have been ignoring a flaw for six months. Good thing for Toyota Care. My rig would not likely see the dealer for well over a year otherwise.
 
Have you changed your differential fluids recently? My uncle had a similar problem on his Tacoma, and it turned out to be the diff fluid not meshing with the LSD. Just a thought.

Thanks, but the truck is new and I only have 3500 miles on it. No need to change any fluids yet.
