Very seriously considering getting some of these. That way, you can just pull them out an wash them off.

That, and you can make 'em look purdy with some shiny stuff when you're not wheeling. :)
 
sounds like a good idea but don't think you can just pull them out to wash them off, looks as if you would need to pull the center console and the seats every time as it's a 1 piece direct carpet replacement i would think all of that stuff bolts down over the top of the vacuum formed vinyl piece ....i could be wrong though as i've never seen these in person, most people i know when they get to this point in their wheeling lives just rhino line the whole thing and call it good. i'm interested in someone else becoming a Guinea pig for this.
 
I'l be the guinnea pig. as soon as I get the money for it.

You are correct though. Everything does get bolted through it. Still... It'd be easier than trying to clean the carpet....
 
I know this is a different idea but I just used truck bed liner on the floor of my 4Runner. It cost me around $150 to do the entire truck. I put several coats on the driver and passenger footwells. Also, if you do it right you can install your carpet back in the truck if you don't like it. When mine gets dirty I just wash it out down the drain holes.
 
Meh.. set of weather techs is cheaper, removable and washable.

Sweet idea though. If you go that far might as well just bedline the floor.
 
I've been wondering about this as well. I hate my carpet. As soon as I can find the money that is what I want to do.
 
Ive been contemplating this for a while. It has the insulation for sound and heat, and you can wipe and vacuum it clean. I would still put a simple rubber floor mat in above it for something to catch the majority of the debris that can be taken out and shaken for a quick clean. This is definitely not a remove once a week item, this is a permanent install. What about the rear cargo area?

This is a superior Idea to bedliner, had a buddy bedline his interior, aside from being terribly loud, hot and wired everywhere its a great idea.
 
SOOOO..... GOOD NEWS!!!!!

The future ex-wifey is getting me the passenger compartment section(for right now) as a late Christmas present(we were too worried about everyone else than to spend money on eachother, though I did get her pink LED underglow's and interior lights, as well as 100something bucks towards her new to her Pontiac G6.

I KNOW!!!!

I told her to get a 4Runner, but she wouldn't listen....)


I tried to link her the info tonight while I was at work, but it didn't go through for some reason. When she comes to pick me up,(yeah, the Runner is down for right now), I'll get her to order the stuff, and it'll hopefully be here in about a week.
