Viper 5704v Remote Start Help

I'll apologize in advance for my inability to find the answer to this question, but I've searched and searched and couldn't quite find out the information I need. Blame it on the fact that I'm just a newbie LOL Anywho...

I just purchased the Viper 5704v Remote Start system with the 2-way pager, and was curious as to which modules and other add-ons I would need to accomplish the following:

1) Roll the rear window down with with pager
2) Turn the headlights on and off with the pager
3) Roll all power windows in the vehicle up AND down with the pager
and lastly
4) A recommended transponder bypass module for the remote start, as well as a recommended proximity sensor for the alarm

Any links to threads with the answers would be greaat, or any specific answers to particular parts would be even better!

questions:

why you think you need headlights on and off?
why you want a radar sensor?
if you are asking these questions, what is your skill level? experience ect?

1: is a link to my diy thread.
2: unless you want it to be auto healights on and off then dei 545t module. or you want it to turn on with disarm. a compustar unit can be programmed for that.
3: 530t only can control 2 windows at a time, it will also make it auto up and down
4: all you need is transponder bypass
5: radar sensor doesnt work will with vehicles with tinted windows. i would mount this in the headliner.

forgot to mention.

dei might not be a good option for you if you plan on doing all these fun things with your alarm keypad. Main reason why dei might not be good is, compustar has a thing called POC(programmable output control). POC explained: this allows for you to program a specific wire to latch for say 1 second to 99 seconds then turn off. or you can program a specific wire to output something ONLY when the alarm triggers(good for triggering trainhorns, sirens, pain generators, strobes ect when the alarm gets triggered)

If you use the DEI you might have to get a few pulse timers (pac-audio.com tr7) to accomplish what you need. this just adds to a bunch of stuff under the dash.

I have a compustar 901ss and i can do the follow on this vehicle

-make my train horns go off by hitting aux 2
-make my rear window roll down when i press trunk release
-make my rear window roll back up with aux 1
-arm my vehicle with out pressing anything, just by turning the car off and walking away.
-disarm my vehicle by walking up to it
-using a PIN number i can disarm and arm my vehicle
-digital angle sensor, sense if truck moves 3 degrees motion in any direction and is a digital shock sensor

On my convertible it does the following
-turn on and off my police strobe lights
-honk my air horns
-honk my police siren
-open and close my convertible top
-turns on and off my wig wags aka headlight flashers.

On my volvo v70r
-only have it doing my train horns for 5 long seconds. that car has a big air tank and dual airpump setup

All the vehicles have DroneMobile for smartphone interface and gps tracking. Yes i can do most of the important functions from my smartphone.

Things can get pretty complicated real real fast if you dont choose hardware properly and install too!

2. I only wanted to be able to control the headlights with the pager because I've heard some aftermarket systems won't turn off the headlights when using the lock button on the factory fob, but this was really just more of a luxury, as opposed to a necessity.
3. Thanks, will a module like this be able to control the rear window feature, or do you think I'd be better off doing the mod you posted
4. I have a tinted windows and don't really wanna sacrifice for the radar sensor, so I'll probably just have to do without lol

As far as skill levels go, I'm pretty competent in pretty much anything that has to do with the car's mechanical, cosmetic, or electrical operation. But I'm definitely looking to get it professionally installed because I know there's so many features to these systems, and so many places I could mess up Hahaha rather not take the chance

The reason I was looking at the Viper system was because it's relatively well-known, and gets the job done (from what I've heard).

But actually, I'm in Flagstaff for school but I travel down to Phoenix quite often and would just like the added protection down there. And of course, just some extra bells & whistles so I can show off to my friends :lol: which brings me to my final question; Where'd you find the police siren to hook up to your convertible? Hahahaha

2: Hearing and reading is not reality. You are not going to be using the OEM fob no more. why would the headlights be a issue then? My OEM fob has been sitting in the key box since i installed my system.
3: Yes and no, if the installer knows what they are doing, maybe. But in reality all it needs is to be pulsed on for about 7 seconds
4: a good shock sensor is probably all you need.

Skill level test, do you know what i was trying to explain from that DIY for rear window roll up? Can you take a negative trigger and have a positive output using a relay?

With my compustar system i needed ZERO extra modules to do any of my cars. Just a few relays and diodes.

Viper is like a Honda, everyone has heard of them and knows their reputation. When you want some more bells and whistles, it falls flat on its face.

or Viper is like a Apple product, everyone thinks they need it but doesnt know why, LoL.

Bells and Whistles cost money and average installer at a shop may not know how to do it.

sirennet,com is a good online place to start. i used them before until i found out i can get everything locally wholesale locally.

btw- the other way to do the window roll up and down is to go to the rear hatch window module. IMHO its a PITA to get wires thru there, ran my backup camera thru it.
