Washing my Nautical Blue TRD ORP 4R

My 2020 4R is nautical Blue metallic and looks beautiful when clean unfortunately the dark color shows dirt and water spots easily and doesn't stay clean very long depending on the weather. I recently purchased a foam Cannon from Griot's and a few jugs of soap made for the foam cannon. I first cleaned using Griot's Brilliant Finish Car Was concentrate, coated 4R with soap from cannon then used my car wash brush on a pole to wipe down, then rinsed off, used Stihl blower to dry and was happy with results. I then ordered a jug of Griot's Liquid Poly Gloss concentrate and was blown away with the results. The Poly Gloss through the foam cannon produces thick shaving cream foam on 4R and also smells really good, after washing down with soft brush I rinsed off and blew dry, then used a large Chemical Guys towel I got off Amazon. The results are amazing ! Looks showroom new, water beads up on everything even glass. Vehicle stays cleaner longer now for some strange reason. I used a 2400 psi Honda Gas pressure to apply foam and rinse off vehicle. I can completely wash and rinse off 4R in 10 minutes now. I highly recommend this product, and no I don't work for Griot's, I just use their products.
According to Video on Griot's site you should first wash vehicle then apply Liquid Poly Gloss, this is how I achieves such great results.

First of all, I'm glad you are enjoying your Nautical Blue T4R. In my humble opinion, it's one of the sexiest colors currently offered.

Speaking as one who's detailed vehicles for over 25 years out of my house and recently retired as the Lead Detailer at a Toyota dealership, let me offer one caution; consider losing the brush.

As you probably know, dark colors are unforgiving when it comes to showing surface marring and defects. That said, you really want to be careful with anything that touches your paint. Think of it this way, any time you touch your paint - not matter how gently - you are scratching it at least at the microscopic level. Even if you don't see marring right away, it will get worse and worse over time. All of a sudden, one day in the bright sunlight, you're going to go "Oh my god, look at that mess!"

The good thing is that you're using the foam cannon to apply a decent layer of lubricating foam. That will help prevent marring. I would suggest microfiber mitts instead of the brush though. And don't forget to use the two-bucket method whenever you wash. Happy trails!

Yeah, I cringed when he said he used the brush on a stick, definitely lose that.

I shouldn't have referred to as a brush, it's actually a large sponge covered with a removable microfiber cover.
