Water Run Off Coming in Window

After it rains and I take the 4Runner out, the water sits on top of the cab. When I come to a stop, the water runs forward down the window and into the cab. Damn this is getting annoying, I even bought visors and it still doesn't completely stop the problem.

How is everyone else dealing with this besides leaving the windows rolled up after it rains?

i just drive in a complete circle twice w/the windows up

That crap drives me nuts too! I never had this problem w/ my '95 4Runner. (Think the roof was contoured differently.) Ever since owning this 3rd gen though, I've learned my lesson the hard way to leave my windows up for a little while after it rains. My arm has gotten soaked more than once.

I'm w/ you though...it sucks.

LOL!!! yea I'll hop right on that, by the time I get some where I can drive in two big circles it'd be off anyway, and I'm not as worried about it gettin me wet (it's annoying as hell but I'll live) as I am the fact it drains directly onto my window switches and locks

Thank God I'm not alone. Find a fix Toyota and give us a recall.

I even bought visors and it still doesn't completely stop the problem.

Didn't buy the visors yet, but that was a BIG reason why I was going to purchase them. I thought the visors would prevent the damn water from entering the car. Oh well, I guess I'll be doing the circle thingy before rolling down the windows...

I have the In Channel vent visors by AVS they look good and solve the trick... stay away from the vent visors that stick on the paint above the window....

Mine are the in-channel also. The water still comes in.

I have just gotten used to it. For the first few stops, I just roll the window up and then down.
