Weathertech Floor Liners/Mats Installed - VERY IMPRESSED!

I just got my tan Weathertech floor liners/mats last night and I am very impressed. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase. Mats for the 1st and 2nd row were $198 shipped - not cheap but well worth it in my opinion.

These mats fit like a glove - as you probably know they digitally scan the floor surfaces and these liners are specific to this generation 4Runner. The mats are more rigid that I thought they would be. The fit is so precise that the retainer clip slipped into the hole (without my help) while I was putting the drivers-side mat in.

Weathertech makes 3 colors - tan, gray and black. The colors are not specific for the 4Runner (or any vehicle). In my opinion the tan color looks good in the Limited leather tan (oak) interior. There is already at least three different color tans in the interior, so there isn't just one color to match. The tan liners have a slightly darker/richer look (sort of a caramel color) than the leather door inserts. Overall they complement the interior well in my opinion.

These floor liners are different from the all weather floor mats on the website, so don't be confused.

They're the best of the best. I love mine and they have served their purpose many times over. The only thing I've ran into problem wise is the adhesive'd on logo keeps coming off. Not a big deal though.

Doh! My passenger emblem came off pretty soon after the purchase. I even went back to the restaurant parking lot we had been at the rainy night I noticed them missing. Inexplicably I found the emblem in my daughter's room. I think I paid $169 from Weathertech.com. They are a great improvement.

I just ordered the full set including cargo liner for my 97. It has the oak interior so im glad to see your pics. The tan looks like the right choice. I cant wait to get them in!

Mine barley fit anymore idk what happen to them. I love them and they do great keeping the carpet spotless but they look like they have lost there mold and I've had them for a year got them last christmas.. Weird

Price has gone way up since I got mine 8 yrs ago. Probably to pay for the TV ads. Mine were probably analog rather than digital.

Anyway they are like new still, no loss of shape or size.

Driver side mat has some stains that simply will not come off with anything I've used.

I was thinking about removing the Weathertech logos - the black, silver and candy red doesn't really go with my interior.

Are they hard to remove?

What does it look like when they are removed?

Will it just be a tan rectangle there once the logo is removed?

Is there a durable 4Runner logo that could go there instead?

Pretty easy to do. Use a heat gun or hair blower.

I said the same thing, but keep an eye on craigslist man, the older our trucks get the more they get traded in and people sell them theyll try get money bavk out of them. I paid I think 75 for a full set, front back and trunk liner from a guy that had just traded in a 99.

Straight out of the box. It will not lay flat no matter what I do and the logo was placed in the wrong spot. This was straight out of the box.

Nothing and to say about the front and middle mats though. Weathertech will be refunding my money on the cargo.

Ha, they won't be an issue for long. I lost mine within the first 3 days I was on a snowboarding trip. They get liquid underneath the sticker and it comes right up. Those stickers don't last long. But the mats are top notch.

Great product. Will have to agree with the post about the cargo mat not being the best fit. Bought the whole set with my since sold 4Runner and the rear mat would slip and the edging didn't fit that great. My current 4runner had a husky mat in the back and I like it better. It isn't color keyed but I bought weather tech for the front and back that match and they are great. Watch for moisture collecting under them though.

I really wanted some weathertechs, but im a college student on a budget. So i settled for some universal floormats, about $30 from pepboys for all 4. Fronts work great but rears kinda suck. It serves the purpose of not getting the carpet dirty, and i like the black 2 tone look it gives
