WeatherTech Floor Mats

I must say, I’m not 100% impressed with the WeatherTech cargo liner. With the back side being completely smooth when you reach in to grab heavier stuff and pull it, sometimes the mat slides and pulls towards you as well if you don’t fully lift.

If they made them with nubs on the bottom to grip the carpet this might help keep the mat in place better.

Anyone else similar with experiences? Or any fixes I’m open for ideas.

Love my WeatherTech's overall but I have the same issue. I feel like the cargo mat isn't as thick as the other ones either.

Would a 2011 Weathertech mat for a 2017? The rear mat seems to have same part number but the front varies.
Can pick up a set front and rear at $40

Found Husky liners to be better than Weathertech.

Same here. Better coverage, better overlap at door sill and deeper, ie higer at the sides.

I've always had WeatherTech, but hit a black Friday deal on Husky for my '22. I am very happy with them and agree they are solid and cover a bit better. (front, back only. No cargo so can't speak to that)

I have the cargo and it covers better, especially the jut outs on each side just inside the hatchback

Here is how I also stopped potential leak area. Black silicon seal in channel at back of front mat near sill (yellow) and black gorilla tape over the hold down clips. (Red). You can also see how the door sill is well overlapped

Here is the Weathertech cargo liner for my 2022 SR5P no 3rd row seat or sliding cargo tray. Note it is basically a rectangle and not very deep. Does not cover the areas on the sides at the hatchback.

Xfasten double sided carpet tape. That’s what I use for my Toyota cargo liner. Doesn’t pull off fibres when you remove it for cleaning, but stays put when in place.

already have...matter of fact, i bought and installed mine a week before i went off roading, got caught in a huge rain storm, got stuck in about 5-7 inches of mud...and needed to be towed out of that situation, mud up to my ankles...and they did exactly what they are designed to do-protecting my carpet from all of that mess as i was in and out of the truck.

Mud so thick, it took three washings to clean it all off...

Had WTs in my ‘15 Tacoma. They were expensive, and curled up at the edges. The price set an expectation that the product did not meet in my experience.
