WeatherTech vs Husky Liners

Weathertech are hands down a nicer product, but more money. I like the fit of my Weathertechs very much. For a cargo liner I could go either way, but for the fronts and second row seats I think the WT are just a great option.

Edit2: I use the Toyota All-weather mats, which IIRC are (being) discontinued. They're great mats, and although they don't have the super-high raised edges, they work great, and I honestly prefer not having those edges to trip over when getting out of my truck

They are no longer discontinued, because I bought a pair about a year ago. I think they are slightly thinner than the original 4Runner all-weather mats and there's a bunch of blah blah warning crap all over them now. I was little dissapointed by this, but whatever.

Any Weathertech advice on cleaning stubborn stains out of the channels where your feet rest ? My beige ones have some mighty resistant blackish stains. To be expected after 9 years I suppose.

Bleach and Simple Green long soak and a Scotchbrite pad won't work. I've not tried a serious abrasive yet.

I have both as well. I have the Husky cargo liner, been in for 2 years now and no complaints. Very easy to remove and clean for how large it is. I have Weathertech for all the passenger areas and they're great as well.

I have the same set up with the mats, and I agree they both work well. For the husky cargo liner, I needed to cut holes for the tie down hooks. No big deal.
The weather tech driver mat slides around a little. I also don't have the hooks to keep it in place so I guess it's my own fault.

I have had Husky Liners in my pick up for about 5 years and they still clean up nice but I put the Weather Techs in the wife's 4Runner and now I wish that is what I would have ordered for my truck.

I'd suggest going with WeatherTech, but do keep in mind, they're a bit more expensive than the WT's. If you decide to go with Huskys, keep in mind the curling edges. My mom's got some husky liners in her '04, and while they work, they have become victim to those curling edges, so they no longer fit as well as they once did. Don't take this as bagging on Husky's, because they are nice, and the curl isn't bad, at least not to the point on where it should be the only deciding factor on which you buy. Neither me or my mom have owned WT's, but I haven't heard a single complaint about them, and those of which I've seen have still (I didn't necessarily know how long they were in, or how much they've been kicked around) have a perfect fit.

TL;DR: For around $50-$70 more, you can get WT's, which I've never heard anything bad about.

Edit: The "$50-$70 more" is based on prices I just looked at on Google. (i.e. May not be completely accurate)

toyo all weather mats suck. They are awful - they cover half the floor and trap dirt and grime in them. I had to clean mine with a nylon brush and scrub each ridge. Waste of money.

I love my Digital Fit Weathertechs, they fit great and I haven't had any issues with them.

I have seen some Husky liners and they're nice but I haven't seen any that are "digi-fit" like the Weathertechs.

My only complaint about the rear cargo unit is nice, but I wish it was longer for when I have the rear seats laid down.

I have the weathertechs front, rear and cargo and there awesome!! I've had mine for a month or so.. Before ordering, I read a bunch of reviews on both before making the decision.. Seem to be far more people disappointed in huskys. The weather techs are a bit more money but, for something you will have for many years it's worth the coin! Get the black ones!

I didn't know they didn't come without them. My '03 never had the recall done and it had hooks.

Weathertechs are WAY over rated and over priced.. Go with what's chepest from the 2. I got Weathertechs for my Landcruiser and honestly, for the cost, expected them to be better. They do what they are suppose to, but so does the cheaper set I have in my 4runner..

No, mine were OEM. I don't know how you could like those. They cover nothing and literally trap dirt in those stupid ridges.

They've gotten lost over the years. Most likely at a car wash when they take the mats out to wash and lose the hooks. I had one up until recently when I got the remote start installed at Best Buy. About a week later, I noticed it was missing.
They're probably not expensive. I just haven't looked anywhere.

Just to add I have had my Husky's for over 3 years and they are as good as the day I got them, I also have the Husky cargo liner and it too is excellent - I didn't see the need to pay $45+ for the WT, the Husky has held up great, no curling, tearing or wearing out. You should not be afraid to order Husky.
