Probably closer to late June, early July for those trails to be fully open.

Agreed.

Especially if you are coming from out of town, I wouldn't risk a trip over Memorial Day only to be unable to run the trails you planned on. If you're looking for a long, holiday weekend to do a trip out here, I would plan on 4th of July or even Labor Day to play it safe.

The links ToyotaDoodz posted are good ones to follow for updates. We've received a lot of precipitation here in CO over the last several weeks and it's come in the form of snow above timer line. It might be a while before many trails are open.
