Hello, I have a 2006 Toyota 4 runner with a V6 and in the morning when my fiance starts the truck and leaves shes been noticing a knock that wasn't there before. I have started driving it and notice it a tad bit but nothing major. I no for a fact this is not the tick that is associated with these motors. Could this possibly be piston slap?? i have notice she does not let it warm up before she leaves and she did say the noise doesn't last long at all (assuming it warms up and stops) and that the noise differs from day to day(Could be weather related). I did just change the oil and nothing unusual there. I also had a Toyota tech look at it and he said that its normal to have this but not sure how trust worthy that is. To add to this, the weather here has been changing from hot to cold (good old Florida winter weather). Is anyone else experiencing this problem as well
