Weird noise when starting 4R. Videos included

This started happening two days ago. Any ideas? My first thought was power steering pump but the noise is connected to engine speed as well as the steering.
This sound goes away once the truck is fully warmed up.

I had an 01 V8 tundra with the same sound. not sure if they use the same or similar PS pump/system, but I found a quick fix for mine. the PS reservoir filter was clogged and gunky. couldn't get it cleaned, way expensive to replace. poked holes thru the mesh filter with a screwdriver, added a $10 inline Ford PS filter (cut and spliced into the hose), and never looked back.
...just an idea...

Doesn't sound exactly like this, but I'd also make sure that it's not the Secondary Air Injection Pumps. You'll get that loud whirrling sound when they're going bad. No CEL or codes being thrown?

Nope, no codes. Thank you, Ill take a look.

Like most things, this happened at a bad time. Leaving for a road trip tomorrow, will now be taking the girls Jeep instead. Also, got a nail in the sidewall of one of the new-ish tires. When it rains it pours.

I just replaced my serpentine belt about 2 weeks ago now due to noise, but it didn’t sound anything like OP’s rig.
It could be this, although I’ve not got enough experience to tell you guessing off of sound. Idler pulley could be a result of the sound if it’s running rough. Toyota told me when I got my serpentine belt replaced that if the sound came back after the new belt is on, it’s the idler pulley. But as I said the sound coming from OP’s rig is completely different. Mine didn’t have a whirring sound to it, just a bad squeal/squeak.

I just replaced my serpentine belt about 2 weeks ago now due to noise, but it didn’t sound anything like OP’s rig.
It could be this, although I’ve not got enough experience to tell you guessing off of sound. Idler pulley could be a result of the sound if it’s running rough. Toyota told me when I got my serpentine belt replaced that if the sound came back after the new belt is on, it’s the idler pulley. But as I said the sound coming from OP’s rig is completely different. Mine didn’t have a whirring sound to it, just a bad squeal/squeak.

I was thinking more along the lines of a bearing going out vs belt noise. Diagnosing sounds via video is pretty unreliable though.

Ah, didn’t even think of that! Yes that could be, it would make sense why it does it when the wheel is being turned.

That's the noise that my 05 V8 made when it's alternator was dying. It made the noise for 2-3 days then died completely. Noise went away, but my battery light came on.

Update:

Took it to a shop for a diagnostic test. They're telling me its the power steering pump, the fluid is burnt but no leaks detected.
I called another shop for a second repair quote and they claimed its HIGHLY unlikely its the power steering pump and probably the rack and pinion. This second shop said the power steering pumps on these vehicles rarely, if ever, go out.

Can anyone confirm the second shop claims in that these steering pumps rarely fail?
