Weird sound coming from shocks?

I'm getting a weird sound everytime I'm coasting or coming to a stop it's almost like a clinking sound, could it be my shocks are too short? I'm using KYB Gas-a-just on a 2.5" Day Star spacer lift. Any other thoughts? I'm taking it into my dad's shop this week to found out what's wrong it's pretty annoying. I did manage to fix another noise which was coming from 2 u joints that needed to be replaced.

Just checked the bolts on the shocks and struts everything is tight still no clue where the noise is coming from, I know it's from underneath the truck...

im getting a similar noise , its mainly noticeable on small bumps or when rolling at a slow speed .

I think it may be my axle since its spiting grease, but im not sure since I though axles were only noisy when turning....

Did you install your lift recently?

I installed mine like 6 months ago. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious I'll find out tomorrow.

Does yours seem to make the noise on small bumps or just when coasting?

It's actually both, I have no idea why it's making noises, I was annoyed by the u joint noise got it fixed finally, now this lol.

I've got a weird clicking noise when I go over bumps that's coming from the rear. Almost like a shock bolt has come loose and every time it moves up and down it contacts something. Pretty annoying.

yeah I'm still having the that noise problem, is your rear shocks one or two bolts? because my KYB's came with 2 bolts.

It kinda sounded like a thuck-a-thuck-a-thuck-a-thuck-a sound if that is remotely descriptive. But took it in and found out my u-joints were bad.

Am I getting those noises from the shocks because I'm using KYB Gas-a-Just? Are they shorter than stock shocks? What shocks would I need to use in the rear? Or am I using the wrong shocks all around...? KYB Gas-a-just all around...
