Yeah especially since that human keeps pushing the robot over. There's only so much that it can take before its gonna retaliate.

The Three Laws of Robotics are a set of rules devised by the science fiction author Isaac Asimov. The rules were introduced in his 1942 short story "Runaround", although they had been foreshadowed in a few earlier stories. The Three Laws, quoted as being from the "Handbook of Robotics, 56th Edition, 2058 A.D.", are:
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

There's been countless Sci-Fi stories and media that shows how easily a logic based being can misconstrue these laws and actually bypass them to hurt humans.
On a side note, that think is pretty cool! I for one welcome our soon to be robotic target practi... I mean overlords.

Actually the entire latter part of the book I, Robot was an exploration of exactly that issue. Although it ended up being that the robots were in fact doing what was best for humans in terms of the overall species in the long run (and therefore following the laws of robotics), though at ground level it appeared they were rising up against us.
p.s. that horrible movie had none of that depth, unfortunately.
