I recently trekked up to Greely, CO to trade my Accord Coupe for a low mileage (77K) 2000 T4R SR5. Driving back to Louisiana, I encountered ice storms, ground blizzards, and blinding rain. However, my new 4Runner handled it all with absolute security. Its a 4WD with a 5-speed, 3.4L V6, Limited flares, sunroof, leather, roof rack, towing package, and all the amenities. The body and interior are pristine...the only flaw is a very small tear on the side of the driver's seat. It even came with a newish set of P265-70-R16 tires on the factory split-triple-spoke alloys. This is going to make a perfect mate for my wife's '08 Tacoma SR-5. Anyhow, I'm excited to have it, as well as the excellent resource of this forum. Cheers!

Welcome to the site, and the T4R club! An SR5 with leather, a sunroof, and limited flares, sounds like a Limited to me. What's missing that keeps it an SR5? Does it have the multimode transfer case?

Split 3 spoke wheels and the aforementioned 5 speed were the tip offs asnd the flares are probably the sport version which is a little different than the Limiteds.
I know,we're geeks about 4Runners. :wink2:

Sorry for the delay...I spent the afternoon at the DMV. Here are a couple of photos. The truck is a little dirty, but you get the idea...
Its totally stock, was garage-kept, and was only driven about 12K miles since '08. She really is a peach. Our Tacoma is just a stock '08 SR-5 in white. It has a four cylinder engine and an automatic. It really has been the answer for us here on our little farm.

No E-locker but that's still a hell of a find. A 2000 with a 5 speed is a highly desirable vehicle, and with miles that low - crazy.
