Were those TRD sitckers on the 3rd Gens Factory?

I am curious if those 3rd Generation 4runners with the TRD stickers on the rear quarters are factory.

If it is factory, which ones came with it?

Anyone else think they look a bit "tacky" on 4Runners? I don't even think they're that great on trucks, but when I see them on SUV's, it just seems way out of place. I guess I just like the clean lines of the 4Runner better. This is just my opinion. No offense to those that have it. :bigok:

I figured the Sport models are as close to a TRD edition as they got with the 3rd gens and my TRD Sport stickers do fit IMO and I get asked more than a few times if it was factory.

i actually had custom ones made for my rig. i didnt want to get the same old trd stickers for the side of my car.

mine are 24 inches wide, and sat TRD OFF ROAD

solid black, on the back side windows.

the black on the tint gives it a shadow look. ill take some pictures tomorow when i get home

I get asked all the time if my 4Runner is a TRD equipped 4Runner...too bad it isn't.

I personally like the TRD Decals found on the newer model Tacos. A tad more unique than the more common TRD Decals you typically see:

yes and no.

Yes the wheels are different. The 1st photo was taken when I still had my oem Sport rims mounted on stock 265/70 Dunlops. (You will also see others refer to these Sport rims as the "coke bottle" rims or the "flower" rims for how they look.) The 2nd pic was taken not too longer after I upgraded my wheels and tires w/ oem Ivan Stewart TRD wheels and 265/75 Nittos.

And No, neither picture was taken with the LED Tails installed. Both shots were "pre-LED".

where can i get that decal? it looks very fresh and i have about the same color 4runner

I got mine on ebay from streetgraphics for $32 shipped and that included 3 smaller TRD stickers as a bonus.

If they aren't available now just check back periodically since I think the seller get grief from Toyota and stop seeling them for a while but they always seem to return or you could try emailing the guy. He has many desings and colors available but I wanted something that stuck with an OEM appearance and the red/white/silver colors were used on the green TRD Tacomas.
