Any of you guys have any advice for mounting the remote solenoid? It should be on the inside of that bumper I think...

Shrockworks-gray powdercoat my brotha. been a 5 month+ wait that was time enough to grab a lift and set of 285's. Hope it comes for you soon ARKRWLR

Yea, I just don't understand why their wait time is so freaking long. It doesn't take other companies nearly that long. On the bright side, that's one of the quicker times I've seen. I've heard of them taking 6-8 months with some people. Mine comes Friday, pretty excited.

Not sure why the wait myself. Only thing I can figure is they hold orders to make a batch... but then you would hear of some people getting theirs in 2 months. Beats me. I suppose that they are just in that high of demand. Or creating the illusion of demand. pure speculation...

Crazy thing is, looking at it now, I'm glad i waited.

I do like that setup, however, I do have some concerns about hiding my plug from use. I have a wireless remote for it, so maybe that is not a concern, but it seems prudent to mak it accessable. Nice work, seems like you've put your time in under that hood. Thanks for the suggestion, i will keep those mods in mind.

I'm not sure how far you read but I ended up installing a wireless remote and I am just going to use that to control the winch. I figure if I absolutely need to access the winch plug, all I need is a screwdriver and I carry a set at all times so its not an issue.

Thanks! It has taken me countless hours to get all the wiring installed properly and cleanly.

Geez-Louise, There is no room ANYWHERE but to find somewhere under my hood. Looks like I am following suit with the underhood mount.

Thank you sir. It's funny how we mod to have them look different, but they often end up looking the same within this forum. I thought a grayed out ride might be something to see. Plus, its not to hard to murder everything out if it looks like shite.

When I was looking to buy a winch, I talked with Mark at SW for about 30 minutes trying to figure out if there was a way to mount the control box in the actual bumper but he couldn't come up with anything...He recommended mounting the control box inside the engine bay close to the battery, but (as I'm sure you know) there really isn't any room to mount it close to the battery, so I just found a place where it fit and made it work. Let me know if you need any additional help/info.

BTW the SW looks sick!! I can't wait for mine...
