What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

I joined the club this year with two 4th gen T4R's:
#1: 2005 SR5 V8 RWD with 117,000 miles for $7000 (+$1000 for new tires, water pump, timing belt). It was good shape mechanically, but needed the timing belt/water pump service and new tires. Interior was dirty, and paint was a bit faded, but it had been in AZ until 2012 so no rust on underbody which I was looking for since I'm in MI. A good detail and a little bit of touch-up and it looks great.
#2: 2005 SR5 4WD V6 with 113,000 miles for $8750 - We liked the first T4R so much, started looking for one for the wife. I ended up buying from an owner that blew the head gasket and overheated it. $4500 for the truck + $1900 for a used motor with 70k miles + $250 for radiator, water pump, thermostat + $2100 labor = $8750
Now I'm working on adding remote start, heated seats, upgrading mirrors, and radio. Lift and suspension upgrades will be next summer . . .

April 2015, bought my 2009 4Runner Trail Edition with 39k miles for 23k USD. One owner, excellent condition with service records, extra set of winter tires, and 2 way remote start.

Bought my 2004 with 253,000 for $6000 and an AR-15. Immediatly had to fix the front diff caused by a destroyed inner CV axle bearing. New bearing $38, new CV shaft from Advanced Auto $72, 8 Qts of 75W90 full synth (leakout and the fix and fill) $80, CV Inner shaft seal $26. My time/labor: approx 9 hours (first time for that fix and taking the dern thing out/back in)
She's working fine now, I've got another 1000 miles before I drain and fill to double check no other issues.
That said, it did come with an ARB bull bumper, 2inch lift and Toyo AT tires. Had I been more observant in the parking lot of that Home Depot, I wouldn't have traded my rifle. poop. Oh well!
Next project, replacing valve cover gaskets! woot

03' SR5 with 95k for $7,500 bought it off my brother, got into an accident 4 days after paying my brother for it :toilet:, but Kimba is such a solid truck, cosmetic damage only :rockon: got it back within 2 weeks
Paid $19K for a used 2007 Sport Edition V6 4X4 with 90K. Second owner purchased in 2013 from a Toyota Stealer in LA.
We had been looking for a black 4wd with hood scoop for months before this one came up. Drove down to LA to look, so dealership already knew we were highly interested and we had absolutely zero leverage in negotiations, but have no regrets!

2006 Sport Edition V8 with 117,000 for $14,365
I live near NYC and found the 4th gen I wanted just outside of Chicago. It actually worked out great because I was already heading to Chicago for the Grateful Dead "Fare Thee Well" shows.
I called the dealer and put a REFUNDABLE deposit on the car using a credit card. A dealer in Ohio wanted me to put a $2500 NON-Refundable deposit on a 4runner without me seeing it. I told them to go f*** themselves.
We drove out in our BMW 535d (37mpg!) and went to Naperville Auto Haus, which is a used car dealership in Naperville, IL. What a great experience. These guys are legit. They have Ferrari's, Lambo's, vintage corvettes, BMWs, Range Rovers, etc. etc.
We could tell instantly this place does not sell junky used cars. We met the owner, awesome guy, he just loves cars. Everyone there was polite. They let us test drive by ourselves, which I prefer. It's a lot of pressure buying a used car and I hate having a sales rep babbling in my ear when I know more about 4runners then they do.
In the end we left happy and with a 2006 4Runner Sport Edition V8 with 117,xxx miles on it. I would buy another used car from Naperville Auto Haus. They said it's common for out-of-towners fly into CHI and a dealership employee picks them up at the airport.
We went to 3 Grateful Dead shows and danced like crazy. Then drove two cars over 800 miles home to New York. See you on Phish tour in my 2006 4Runner!!!

I bought my 2005 Sport Edition V6 4x4 in Pennsylvania for $7,999 with 161k. I had been watching it for a couple of weeks on eBay while looking all over the country for something similar and couldn't find anything close to that for less than $10k. I worked a night shift, got off at 7am, got on a plane and slept, landed in PA, and drove to Nashville that day. Finished the journey back to Dallas the next day, saving me over a grand in shipping costs.

1 month ago. 05 Sport Edition 2wd V8. Timing belt changed at 90k. 112,000mi. 2 owners. Last being a mother's garage queen. Only used to grocery shop, drop kids at school. (Or so I was told of course)
