What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

If you going to have it financed you'll be paying way more than it's worth on the long run at the price it's at now.

BUT

If you have never own a T4R before and get good one you'll never think about wanting Jeep or Ridgeline again IMO!!

I have stellar credit, so with my financing I'd probably only pay $300-400 in financing fees.
I get the dependability, but there is something to be said for more creature comforts.
The dealer has been texting me non-stop, so i'll just be straight with him that we're not in the same ballpark and see what they can come back with.

2004 V8 limited. 300k km. Had 2 collisions (fully repaired). Minimal door rust. Minimal undercarriage rust for the car in the rust belt.
Paid 4500 Canadian.

I got it on Jacks now. Need to replace a cooler line at the rad, new calipers and rotors at front, completely scrub and seal underside, fix door rust and a few paint dings, clean the interior and replace a few bulbs.

Considering it's close to imposible to find an 04 with this little rust, I'll deal with the small repairs bs...

2004 V8 SR5 129K Miles for $9500

Just picked up a 2004 V8 SR5 with 129K Miles for $9500, not the best price but these things are super hard to find in Southern California.

In pretty good shape, minor body damage (scratches/scuffs/hood alignment aint perfect) and i think it was a reasonable deal (we always do tho )

I feel your pain. I picked up my '04 V6 Sport 4WD with 159k miles for $10k and that's a reasonable price for it around here. So jealous of the people on here that got em for $2-$3k less.

Oh well, I'm happy with it and know it'll last forever so I'm not worried.

Ok you're freaking me out, my name is also Kevin and i went to VT (i see you're in Blacksburg) - small world I also have the same mentality that this thing is almost an investment and will last me "forever"

Of course i now notice that my truck is losing coolant and i'm freaking out, but i think it's just a leaking radiator return hose/manifold...now to find some manuals and see if i need gaskets!

Ayy, small world indeed! I'm convinced that the majority of the people at VT are named Kevin. I'd turn around thinking someone called my name all the time but they'd be talking to someone else.

As long as it's not a V6, a coolant leak is probably something relatively minor like a water pump or leaky hose. The V6 is known to have occasional headgasket issues, though.

V6 or V8? Crazy low mileage for a 10 year old car, was it one owner that didn't use it much? If it has been driven lightly/well cared for, it could be worth that - but would then depend on your local market. Mine (SoCal) seemed to be pretty pricey compared to a few other areas nationwide.

Dang seeing everyone on here finding good deals on their T4R's make me jealous.

I also live in Southern California and it has been really tough finding any 4th Gen V8 4x4 for under $15k and under 100k miles.

I did manage to find a '04 SR5 V8 4x4 with 80K mi from a Toyota Dealership in San Diego and had to jump on it. Sticker price was $15k, but after taxes, fees, etc. I paid just under $18k for it...it hurts more seeing that I may have overpaid, but at least I got what I wanted.

You'll just spend more money in the long run buying one of these trucks with under 100k miles, unless you get it for a great deal. Find one that is $5k cheaper and already has the timing belt and all other maintenance up to date with 120k-130k miles and you'll be set for another 200k miles.

But some buy them for the cool factor which I understand.

2006 2WD v8 southern truck leather and roof 118k for $12,500. New tires pads rotors calipers all four And new front wheel bearings. Timing changed st 92kand documented. Decent deal.

Haha if I had room I most certainly would, but I'm not sure I'm even gonna have enough spots for my CBR and 4 Runner at the place I'm moving into later this month (might have to park the bike in fron of or behind the truck). Hit me up when you're in town though and I might be able to find you somewhere to park if needed!

Just bought a 2003 Sport 4x4 V8 with 250k miles for my son's first car. Needs some minor repairs (oil plug leak, cracked windshield). And it has rusted rock chips all over it (no serious rust, though). We paid $3500.

I ended up purchasing the car. It had two previous owners but overall it was the best I could find in my budget.
