What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

My deal wasn't a retail deal, I bought my 2006 4runner Sport 4x4 auto with 141,000 miles December 2013 from my step dads work on a sealed bid auction. It was his personal work truck and I paid $8000. I wasn't really in the market for a new ride but couldn't pass up the deal and I knew it's complete history. I sold a 2003 Suburban 2500 fully loaded to pay off most of the 4runner.

I miss the heated leather, all auto windows, non traction control, better stereo, better hatch design, three way climate control, being able to tow anything... but I don't miss the fuel economy.

I think the suberban is a cargo van with 4 doors. I guess it just personal opinion on the rear door.

Just bought a blue 04 Sport Edition V6 with 136,000. Has leather, moon roof, aftermarket black wheels, jbl stereo for $10,500.

Bought a 2004 SR5 Pacific Blue with 87,000 miles for 10K. Sunroof, cloth interior. Cig burn in front seat will be repaired this week. 4 wheel drive.

Yeah it is all personal opinion. I dig the 4runner and love the power of the 4.0. Can't wait to lift it, put wheels, tires, bumpers, sliders, roof rack etc on it.

Leather and seat heaters can be added in. Leather on the gm SUV sucks and should be ripping by 125k

All auto windows is something I have never seen in a gm SUV. Better stereo? I don't know about that one and I have worked on a ton.

Hatch? It's all up to personal opinion. They basically the same except one Rolls down and one pop up. The gm usually breaks the tabs of the defroster lines all the time.

Yep, I've put katzkin leather in my old Taco and now have it in my Tundra. Just ordered it for the 06 sport 4runner we just bought last weekend. $699 shipped from amazon and the heated seat inserts were $50 off amazon. I'll be installing everything this weekend.

Bought a 2006 Sport Edition about three weeks ago for $18,988. It was a lot, but of the three I test drove over the last few months this one was in the best condition by far. Only 54,000 miles and spotless.
It even had heated leather seats put in by the dealer.

Thanks to the forum too for all the info I gathered before buying.

I traded in my Tacoma for the 4runner and I got a decent price for the truck and am now in a vehicle that is a thousand times better for the family.
The V8 is nice too... :thumb3:

I am somewhat surprised by some of the replies by some people on my recent post. I wasn't comparing Toyota and GM leather, I was stating what I missed about my previous vehicle. Must have struck a nerve.

Yep, the leather was tore along the seams and I had it repaired.

Toyotas too are notorious for crappy leather seats...

Yep, my GM Bose stereo was better than the stock Toyota one I have now, better sound and way better bass.

Again, this isn't a Toyota versus GM deal. Both rigs have pros and cons.

2006 SR5 4x4 with 74,000 miles, bought last year for 15k. It was a little higher that I would have liked to pay but it still had what was left of a 100k extended warranty on it. No rust and it runs like it is brand new.
