5vz-fe, manual trans, 4wd....replaced fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator. Now when i start it, it goes wide open and doesn't act like it will settle down before i shut it down at 4-5 thousand rpm. never mess with throttle linkage adjustment nuts, just remove cables and take off throttle body with intake manifold. this truck happens to be real clean, cant see where anything would be sticking. all vacuum lines look good, cleaned out maf. also replaced clutch but cant see how that would affect anything.......any ideas

Why did you clean the maf with and it will not over rev. The computer will not let it blow up. Start it and see if it will calm down.
cleaned it with specific maf cleaner

I'd go through make sure there are no vacuum leaks on the plenum. That will do it.

It has to be big like plenum gasket.
oem.....looked a little different than what was in there. just got the truck a few months ago, don't know the history. seems like its getting plenty of fuel though
