Pre 4Runner

My 4runner is an 03 V8 that I am absolutely in love with, unfortunately I live in America and consumerism is real... My 4runner is a champagne SR5 and I desperately want an 07-09 white sport edition but, alas, the grass is always greener. In terms of basic functionality there is almost no difference.

First car to current:

1992 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4cyl 4WD white
1995 Ford Mustang GT purple (Swapped to 6.0l chevy LS w/ 5spd manual)
2000 Dodge Dakota SLT V8 AWD white
and current 2003 4Runner

after owning a mustang, I can confirm they are super fun and have definitely earned their title as "crowd killers"... There is something to be said for having a capable (offroad vehicle) sports cars dont go offroad which is just so limiting.

Oh geez... If I started from my first car at 15, this would be a loooonnngggg list. My father has always been in the auto industry, so I was lucky enough to be able to trade cars frequently and not lost money since I could get them for what they paid in trade, or below invoice for new. My last 10 cars as as follows:

1995 Ford Bronco (Still have it and will probably keep it forever. It was my "daily" that I restored at the start of Covid. 309K miles on it).

Going back to the mid-1980’s (college), in the order that I owned/drove them:

1974 VW Bug (rusty, used in 1984 for $200, college car)
1981 Mazda GLC Wagon (used in 1986, graduation gift, worth about $1,000)
1985 VW Jetta (used in 1986, ex-gf/ex-wife’s car, our “family” car starting in 1988)
1992 Volvo 240 Wagon (new in 1992)
1987 Toyota Corolla LE (used in 1995, second/commuter car)
1991 Toyota Corolla All-Trac Wagon (used in 1999(?), second/commuter car)
2004 Toyota Sienna LE (new in 2003, totaled by son in 2012)

Then the 2004 4Runner Limited 4WD V8, bought used in 2007, still driving it.
