What did your 4Runner TRD pro come with?

Hey guys,

So I recently picked up a 2021 TRD Pro.

The car came with all weather floor mats, but no carpet mats.

Dealer salesman’s told me it’s probable because of some recall in a past Toyota, where the carpet mat was pushing down the accelerator?

Did your TRD Pro come with carpet floor mats? Cargo carpet or all weather mat?

I ordered mine but I do know that "base" TRD Pros come w/the TRD Pro All-weather mats. Carpet Mats are an Add-on. When I was looking I saw some that had the Carpet Mats added-on.

I added Blackout Kit, Sliding Cargo Tray, Cargo Mat to the base.

I have a 12V power supply next to the Front USB (the dual USB is an option and replaces the 12V).

There are not too many other options on the TRD--door edge guards, TRD Oil Cap blah blah...

Congrats on the new ride! My 2021 Pro came with all-weather mats. Cargo area is carpet -- no extra covering at all.

Your salesman is wrong. All Toyotas since the carpet debacle ten or so years ago come with anchors to hold the mats in place, whether they are carpet or all weather. My 2013 RAV4 had them.

Look on the window sticker (required for all new cars sold) for what is standard or an extra cost accessory. If an extra cost accessory, they are installed in lieu of the carpets.

There is no "carpet" cargo mats; only the "mouse fur" glued on the hard substrate. But there is an all weather mat available if not installed as an accessory.

For those that may have the third row seating, there is a difference in the cargo all weather mat. The one available in the USA has to be removed to raise the third row seats, but there is a better one available from Canada Toyota dealers that does not need to be removed, and even has an all weather covering for the back of the third row seats.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anything is missing. The Pros come with all-weather mats, not carpet ones.

According to Toyota.com, the TRD Pro comes with "TRD Pro all-weather floor liners". So it would seem you are not missing carpet floor mats.

I have a TRD ORP and it came with "TRD Off-Road floor mats" which are carpet mats with "TRD Off Road" embroidered on them. However, as part of the GST black out package it also came with Toyota all-weather floor liners. The carpet mats were still in plastic in the cargo area when I took delivery.

When I purchased my OFP the vehicle came with the rubber mats installed and the dealer provided the carpet mats in their plastic bag as well.

It’s not even that, it’s dealer shenanigans.

Anything not bolted to the vehicle they feel like they should be able to take off and sell it back to you.

My 2013 came with the wrong style non-anchor type carpeted floor mats for the previous model with no explanation as to why and the dealer claimed there were no all weather rubber floor mats for that specific model type, even though I managed to find a set on Amazon.

All weather in mine.

Just got my 22 OR Premium, it has all weather rubber and the same cargo rubber mat I ordered for my 15 from weather tech way back when. That will save me a few bucks.

The 2nd row rubber are ok, not as much area cover as the weathertech but I think they’ll do. Just order weathertech for the front today.

Strange thing is the carpet mats still sealed in bag where in the back, with cargo net, first aid kit.

I’ve purchased 2 TRD ORP’s in the past 3 months. The 2021 TRD came with both all weather rubber mats and carpet mats. The carpet mats were in the rear with the cargo net. It also included the rubber cargo liner. My 2022 TRD ORP only came with rubber all weather mats and the cargo liner with net. I know my salesman well and confirmed the 2022 did arrive with no carpet mats and weren’t taken out. Not sure this helps but the point is the two TRDs came with different mats and were purchased less than 75 days apart.
