What do you love about the 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner?

I love my 4Runner because It's gotten me through three winter storms/blizzards that were tossing other vehicles off the road.
During my last expedition through Buffalo, NY on the NYS Thruway (I-90), I met a state police officer who couldn't believe I made it as far as I did (was filling up with gas at the Erie, PA/NY border). While I poured coffee inside the station, he asked what I was driving, I told him a 4Runner...
His reply: "Figures. I'd say good luck but hell that Toyota will take you anywhere."
PRICELESS.

Small, dependable, fun, easy to work on, pretty fast, great platform for modifications, oh yeah and 4Runner!

You done opened a can of worms.
1. Timeless styling.
2. Generally assumed to last well beyond 200,000 miles, compared to most other vehicles which are generally assumed to die by the time they hit 200,000 miles.
3. May not be the best at any one thing, but pretty good at just about everything. Get you around town in comfort. Can take you on a few thousand mile road trip no problem. Can tow if you need it to. Can take you through snow storms with ease. Will do anything you ask of it.
4. (1999-2002 only I think) A drivetrain that allows AWD functionality combined with 4WD functionality. This is probably my favorite. Anyone who lives in a snowy region would probably agree. Throw her in 4HI unlocked and leave it there all winter if you'd like. Over pavement, over snow, doesn't matter.
5. LIGHT WEIGHT. Compared to a lot of other vehicles this size, it is around the 4000lb mark when stock. This might not make a huge difference to some people, but those of us that go off roading, it is HUGE. A Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-door weights more than a stock 3rd gen does.
6. Seats low to the floor. Car like feel when sitting in it.
7. Easy to maneuver around a parking lot (and anywhere else... i.e. offroad). Skinniness combined with not too-long or too-short wheelbase combined with a sharp turning radius combined with good visibility = this truck can squeeze through places others can't.

I don't know how this hasn't been mentioned yet. [MENTION=96608]MandAtaco[/MENTION] will agree with me, #1 best thing is the crotch cooler!
Really the list should be what you don't love about the 4Runner, as that list would be much more manageable. Like the faux wood dash bezel in the Limited breaking when you take it off.
