Thinking about buying this runner for $6500 2002 4Runner - SR5 4X4. Maintenance checks out and it's my number one color choice. Decent mileage as well.

Looks like it's in pretty good condition, idk if the trd stickers indicate off-road use or mall crawling, check for heavy under side scratching, but other wise do IT!!

That's one of the engine and frame, off-roading and rust are minimal. Was not abused.

My 01 that I bought last year had about 20k more miles but was in better condition than that one. Mine was really actually flawless.

I paid $6,500 for it. Texas vehicle all its life. I was 3rd owner.

I'm just giving you this as a comparison.

I feel you, it has all the records for the PMs which is definitely a plus. Also brand new tires and an upgraded sound (which I was going to do anyways). I couldn't care less about a hole in the leather or a sunroof not working. Thank you for the feedback.

Someone has definitely had fun in the mud. That engine bay could use a steam cleaning. If there isn't any rust then sure it looks like a decent buy.

With the mods and engine bay picture. You know he did not take care of it. Im guessing the entire rig looked like the engine bay its entire life till he went to sell it. You know someone cares is when they keep the engine bay spotless.

I don't necessarily agree with that. I've never kept my engine bay spotless and I am meticulous with my maintenance. I wouldn't lose much sleep over a muddy engine bay. I don't clean much under the hood past just spraying it with water.
But that's just me.

OP, that looks like a good 4Runner from the pictures, maybe a little rust by the body mounts on the frame picture, but maybe just dirty. Price seems a little steep to me, but you're in a different market.
