So I figured we would start a thread to show you the kind of work we do at ODL. These two big projects are almost done. Once they are out of my hair we will begin focusing strictly on Toyota products:guitar3:

I have seen both the projects in person and they are awesome along with several other ones he has done. I can't wait to see them fully complete with paint.

Among other things it might mean lower links or a rear bumper.

**Jimmy I am still looking for a deployment to volunteer for so you can have my truck to 3-link SAS and a 4 link rear.

What do you guys think about SASing a 5th gen? What axle would you recommend, not too pricey but solid....

Do you know how wide the rear axle is ( WMS) I think its around 63ish

That really depends on price tag and what your final tire size will be...

I have been going back and forth on this one myself. After many phone calls with Scotty ( Addicted ) You really cant beat the Diamonds..

But here would be my order

Currie Rock Jock 60 ($$)
Spydertrax 9 ( $$$)
Diamond ( $)
Junk Yard rebuilt HP Dana 60 ( $)

I wouldn't waste my money on Dana 44s unless it was a sweet deal.. And they were well built ....

if they are anything like a 4th gen or current tacoma in width then you will almost have to go full width. I looked into it with my friend for his 09 tacoma. after a few calls to demello and talking about Wyatts d-cab sas we came to the conclusion that you have to run full widths. I believe wyatt is running a custom d-60 right around 64 wms and he has wheel spacers on that so I am guessing its now at 66-67 wms and he still rubs the frame at full lock up front.

its not like a 3rd gen where most axles will fit under it

junker d-60's can bu pulled for a good deals sometimes. and the ball joint versions are good enough. good luck trying to get a kingpin 60. But like OL says diamonds are a really good price. the d-60 toyota hybrid is pretty sweet
