It's a cross support. Not sure how much it helps, but I thru mine in the trash when I installed my RCI Skid plates.

I hit mine on a rock a while back, still have done nothing to it. Its there to protect but not needed

was, its likely got mud there now. i didnt notice until i posted this that i had hit my frame as well. might have to take some paint to it now that i have noticed it

Actually, I was referring to the lack of rust.. You would never see that here with the amount of salt we use on the roads.

Yeah, lol. compare my exhaust to yours. although the undercarriage is muddy, you can still see a bunch of rust. I need to tend to that...

mine is also an 09 so its a bit newer. only bad part about it being newer is the truck payments, and at 21 its not easy
